Our morning program opened with Dr. Les Hollingsworth of the University of Wisconsin-Platteville School of Business, presenting Wisconsin’s Next Economic Chapter and providing a timely look at Wisconsin’s economy and emerging business trends.
Morning breakout sessions focused on small business needs, including financial education from Marine Credit Union, practical applications of Artificial Intelligence from Reward Our Heroes, and defense contracting and procurement with Fincantieri.
Our Business Table area ran concurrently, connecting attendees with sponsors and federal and state resources.
The afternoon opened with Susan Thomson of ActionCOACH Dane County, providing practical strategies for building and scaling businesses.
Afternoon programming then focused heavily on workforce and HR issues, including health insurance options from iPlanRx, navigating group health plans with Diversified Benefit Services, and talent acquisition strategies from Positive Polarity.
We were also pleased to welcome fellow Chambers of Commerce and regional business organizations as we begin exploring additional opportunities to collaborate on future educational and networking programs. Bringing together expertise from small businesses, corporations, government, education, HR, and community organizations expands what we can offer the entire business community.
